How Victorians are Reaching Out to Help Japan

There are a lot of people and organisations here in Victoria reaching out to Japan in their time of need. I have compiled a list of ways that people in Victoria can help Japan:

Please contact me if you know of a fund-raising effort that I have missed. You can reach me at

Tears At Your Door

Local Victoria residents, Connie Dunwoody and Marlon Narcisco were so moved by the tragedy on Friday, March 11, 2011 that they wrote the song and lyrics for Tears At Your Door, a beautiful and touching tribute to our friends in Japan.

It is available for purchase on iTunes, and all proceeds received ($0.99 per download, less Apple’s 30%) will be donated to fund relief efforts in Japan through the Canadian Red Cross. They have also approached Apple to donate their 30% commission to these fund-raising efforts.
